What does it mean to have a body? More critically: what does it mean to have a body that is wrong? Chronically ill & transsexual; a body in flux, in constant process of modification, medication; in pain, overwhelmed, and examined. What does it mean to have a body that has faced trauma, on both a personal and generational scale? To suffer? Perhaps, most important: what does it mean to be meat? To be meat, animated by a spark? Where in the meat is the spark of life? Why am I here, in this flesh?
